Contingency Plans

Contingency plan

Shoot day four: Southgate school, EN4 0BL, physiotherapy room
Shot numbers 15, 16
Props: mobile phone
Talent: Talia Duverney-Ruse

Contingency situation 1: prop breaks
Response 1: Try to fix problem yourself.
Response 2: Use spare prop as replacement (someone else’s phone, ensuring the phone is the same make)

Contingency situation 2: actor/actress does not arrive
Response 1: Call him/her on mobile.
Response 2: If unable to attend shoot have a replacement.
Response 3: If delayed postpone shoot until later in the day.

Contingency situation 3: equipment breaks
Response 1: Try to fix the problem yourself.
Response 2: Phone the school and request for replacement, postponing the film.

Contingency situation 4: accident with actress
Response 1: Determine severity of injury, if minor treat with first aid box
Response 2: If major have first aider on site to treat problem/call ambulance
Response 3: If problem is too bad where actress can’t continue get a replacement or reschedule.

Shot numbers 5, 6, 8-14
Props: mobile phone, rock, bag
Talent: Talia Duverney-Ruse, Mohammad Four, Poppy Blanchard.

Contingency situation 1: prop breaks
Response 1: try to fix the prop yourself.
Response 2: use spare prop as replacement.
Response 3: Use replacement prop.
Contingency situation 2: actress/actor does not arrive
Response 1: call him/her on mobile.
Response 2: if unable to attend shoot have Serena Orsi-Dadomo as a replacement
Response 3: if delayed postpone shoot until later in the day
Contingency situation 3: bad weather
Response 1: use rain jacket on camera. Provide actress and crew with rain jackets. Have towels ready. Use a shelter between takes.
Response 2: check weather forecast delay shoot and rearrange
Response 3: wear appropriate clothing e.g. boots for the mud in the park
Contingency situation 4: equipment breaks
Response 1: try to fix equipment yourself
Response 2: phone the school and request for replacement, postponing the film.

Contingency situation 1: Crew/actress could fall in to pond and have injuries 
Response 1: Get person out of pond as quickly as possible.
Response 2: Determine severity of injury, if minor treat with first aid box.
If major have first aider on site to treat problem/call ambulance
Response 3: If major have first aider on site to treat problem/call ambulance, if problem is too bad where actress can’t continue get a replacement or reschedule.

Contingency situation 2: actor/actress does not arrive
Response 1: Call him/her on mobile.
Response 2: If unable to attend shoot have a replacement.
Response 3: If delayed postpone shoot until later in the day.

Contingency situation 3: Bad Weather
Response 1: Use rain jacket on camera, provide actress and crew with rain jackets, have towels ready, use shelter between takes.
Response 2: Check weather forecast, delay shoot and rearrange.
Response 3: Wear appropriate clothing e.g. boots for the mud in the park.

Contingency situation 4: equipment breaks, falls into pond
Response 1: Try to fix the problem yourself/get equipment out of pond as quickly as possible.
Response 2: Phone the school and request for replacement, postponing the film.
